Oh AdAge....

So, when I'm in class, I really have nothing else to do but look on AdAge. And what do I find?

The creepiest icons in advertising history. I suggest everyone read this, especially Matthew Creamer's comments. Make note of the Quizno's Spongemonkeys. I wouldn't be surprised if they brought those back again.

Happy Tuesday!

Hey, it's September.

First post of the Fall 2007 Intern Invasion!

Thanks for the intern lunch, Andrew and Denise. It was worth the trek.

So, some stuff about me that might be interesting to you fine people:

- I don't drink coffee.
- I love Japanese manga and animation, and I'm starting to get corrupted by "Western" comics.
- My language skills rank as follows: English >> Chinese >> French = Japanese
- I've been to Canada, China, Japan, Trinidad & Tobago, Mexico, Germany, Austria, and Taiwan.
- I want the new 2008 Acura TL, Type S (go manual, or go home!)
- Secretly, I'm a Harry Potter junkie.
- When I play video games, I forget to eat and sleep.
- I'm studying to take the GMAT, but I'm not too sure yet if business school is really going to be in my future.
- I don't want to be a music elitist, but I always feel a vague sense of resentment and regret every time my favorite indie artist at the moment is suddenly included on an episode of "Grey's Anatomy."
- I watch "House M.D." religiously (Hugh Laurie is my prime minister).
- I only signed up for Facebook AFTER I graduated from UT.
- I doodle on a lot of things...like Quizno's napkins.

Cool. That's 12 things about me. A good nice number. Everyone should do the same; it's not hard.

So, has everyone found the Shared playlists on iTunes at work yet? I'm totally a fan of the "ephermera" and the "Hoofhearted" playlists. Makes my hours go by fast, especially when I'm trying to find suitably depressed-looking children for WorldVision.

Hope everyone has (or had) a good weekend!
